Winter Storm Houston 2024 Storm. We have so many changes on the way in the forecast — from overnight storms early friday morning to the arctic blast next. Here is a timeline of when we expect temperatures to drop below freezing and when wind chills — winter’s version of “feels like” temperatures —could fall into the teens.

A hard freeze warning was issued for counties far north and northwest of houston. If it comes through early in the morning, afternoon highs could stay below freezing as far south as houston.
